Your Role
This internship offers you a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to private equity and the fast-evolving green tech landscape.
As an intern at DTE Capital Partners, you will be an integral part of the investment team, working closely with partners and investment professionals across the full deal lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing markets, technologies, and companies within the Energy, Food, and Health transitions
- Building financial models and valuations to support investment assessment
- Supporting deal execution, including preparation of investment memos and transaction materials
- Preparing and participating in meetings with partners, management teams, and external advisors
- Sourcing and screening potential investments through desk research, industry events, and engagement with sector experts
- Taking on increasing responsibility over time, with exposure to live investment decisions and portfolio-related work
Your Profile
You are a driven and intellectually curious individual with a strong interest in finance, technology, and sustainability. You are comfortable working in a small, high-responsibility team and motivated to contribute to professional investment processes.
You have:
- A (nearly-)completed master's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or Technology
- For candidates with a technical background, demonstrable exposure to business or finance is required
- A clear interest in technology-led businesses and sustainability-driven markets
- Strong analytical and research skills, with attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Prior experience in a startup, scale-up, or investment-related setting is a plus
- Full professional proficiency in Dutch and English
